Who is Lindsey Lind?
A creative for your agency, businesses, community & home
a “Creative”?
That’s right valued visitor, a creative is an artist but not just a painter, musician, or writer. They’re that person who looks at a cloud and sees a dragon fighting a taco, while everyone else just sees… a cloud. They are an unboxable individual. A little different .. Like the one puzzle piece that somehow fits nowhere but is still essential to the big picture. Some call creatives trailblazers; others see them as misfits with some assembly still required. Either way, they’re definitely not obeying the instruction manual.
Creatives make good thought leaders. They are not necessarily leading by giving TED Talks or making inspirational Instagram reels. Instead, they lead by existing with an overactive imagination and an uncontrollable urge to make things.
And what, exactly, does a creative do?
Great question. Sometimes even they’d like to know.
Woah, what’s with all questions. OK, look – A creative creates art. Not to make a fortune (though they wouldn’t say no to that), but because they would probably explode if they didn’t. They write because the words demand to be written, not because they’re trying to top the bestseller list. They paint just to see what happens when colors misbehave. They sing because, well, why wouldn’t they sing?
If we asked them to draw a glass, would it be half empty or half full? Or would they simply draw a circle to view the glass from above and ask us to make up our own mind? A creative ignores the lines entirely—maybe they scribble over them, maybe they turn the whole page upside down. Either way, they’re here to shake things up and make us see things differently. Not just for the sake of rebellion (okay, sometimes for that), but because the old way was getting a little stale, and someone had to make it interesting.
Why we need creatives.
Because life would be dull without them.
Creatives add poetry to a world perfectly fine with bullet points. They turn our blank walls into murals, mundane moments into fun, and the ordinary into the extraordinary. They help us see life differently—like a new lens on an old camera, making everything sharper, brighter, and way more interesting. And we could use a lot more of that.
Can I be your creative?
Hi, I’m Lindsey working from a home studio in Vancouver Canada with a practice in fine art, graphic design and performance. I value relationships and believe in sharing knowledge, promoting dialogue and increasing creative potential with collaboration.
What I Do
FINE ART
Painting & illustration
I have a love for traditional watercolour, pen, ink and acrylics but I also use digital tools to design and create murals, wall art and a variety of usable products.
GRAPHIC ART
Visual Identity & Design
I excel at brand identity, infographics and book, magazine layout as well as graphics that parade around as art such as surface design and experiential graphics.
PERFORMANCE
Public Speaking & Comedy
I am a writer, keynote speaker, comedian and musician. I am educated in stage presence, improv comedy, stand-up comedy, creative writing and musician.
Why Choose Me?
Because you won’t find another creative quite like this.
I blend art, construction, music, and comedy to create work that’s engaging, meaningful, and a little unexpected. I have experience in design, hands-on building, performance, and public speaking. I don’t just think outside the box—I rebuild it. I remix it and probably add a joke. Whether crafting visuals, designing spaces, or captivating an audience, I bring creativity. Practicality and a touch of humor are added to everything I do. Let’s make something extraordinary together.
Guidance
With decades of experience online, offline, onstage or managing projects, I can be your guide, answer your questions, alleviate all your fears and demonstrate how it will look, feel or sound, before we start.
Value
Activating a space is just the beginning. I add value by integrating and managing all of your design applications. Think marketing, banners, t-shirts, signs, print production and swag. This is all looked after for you without worry.
Professional
With a history of running agency-based design studios, working on building developments and managing large-scale construction sequences, I’ve got the right stuff to get it produced and installed safely.
Next Steps
Listen
Book a free consultation to discuss your project, hopes, dreams and timelines. I’m eager to hear all about it and see if
it’s a fit.
Estimates
I gain further information, measurements and numbers. I put them all into a magic box, shack it and write
a proposal.
Proposal
A proposal of goals, costs, timelines and payment schedules is presents. First payment confirms the start date and availability
Onboarding
I onboard the project and set to work on the project with an eye on timelines and milestones to create something
extraordinary
My attractive fans
I swear, they haven’t been paid.
